Dart Weather for Auto

In plain English: Dart Weather is free, for your personal use, provided “as is.” Weather information can be wrong, delayed, or missing — never rely on it for safety. You use it at your own risk.

1. Agreement

By installing or using Dart Weather (“the App”), you agree to these Terms; if you don’t agree, don’t use the App. The App is published by Dart Technologies, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Free, personal, non-commercial use

The App is free. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it on your own vehicle or device. You may not:

• Use the App or its data commercially;
• Resell, redistribute, scrape, bulk-download, or republish the App or the data;
• Reverse-engineer or modify the App except where the law expressly permits;
• Remove attribution or notices shown in the App.

3. Never rely on it for safety

Weather information is for general convenience only. It comes from third parties (Section 5) and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. Do not use the App for any safety-critical, emergency, navigation, aviation, marine, or commercial decision. Alerts in the App are a convenience, not a substitute for official emergency channels.

4. Drive safely

Do not let the App distract you from driving. Obey traffic laws and interact with it only when safe and legal. You are solely responsible for operating your vehicle safely.

5. Third-party data; no affiliation

Weather, radar, air-quality, alert, routing, and map data belong to third-party providers and government agencies, under their own terms and privacy policies, for your personal, non-commercial use only. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any provider, agency, vehicle manufacturer, or platform — their names identify only the data source.

6. No warranty

THE APP AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we, our suppliers, and our data providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or harm — including property damage, personal injury, or a missed or wrong warning — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or its data. Because the App is free, our total liability will not exceed US $0, the amount you paid. Where the law doesn’t allow some of these limits, they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

8. Your risk; indemnification

You accept all risk for your use of the App and any decision based on it, and agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of third-party data.

9. Changes & termination

We may update the App or these Terms (material changes update the date above; continued use means acceptance), and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. You may stop using and uninstall it at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not waived.
